La Plata County Board of County Commissioners Hosting Reception in Honor of Linda Daley

    Durango, CO - The La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will host a reception to honor Linda Daley upon the conclusion of her fifth term of office as La Plata County’s Clerk & Recorder on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Extension Building at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Avenue, Durango.  Elected as La Plata County's Clerk & Recorder in 1990, Linda Daley will be retiring on January 11, 2011 at the conclusion of her current term of office. 

   Mrs. Daley’s distinguished career with La Plata County began in 1979 when she was hired by Clerk & Recorder Avis Harris as an Auto Title Clerk.  "Linda Daley has made an enormous contribution to La Plata County during her tenure as Clerk & Recorder," explains Wally White, Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. "We are grateful to Linda for her exceptional service, leadership and stewardship."
