1:00 p.m. The Board will meet with Planning Department staff to discuss the La Plata County Comprehensive Plan in the Anasazi Room of the La Plata County Courthouse, 1060 E. 2nd Avenue, Durango.
TUESDAY, December 21, 2010
9:30 a.m. – SPECIAL BUSINESS AGENDA: The Board will consider:
* Approval of the La Plata County Office of Emergency Management’s submittal of an application for the 2010-2011 Emergency Management Performance Grant funding through the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, Division of Emergency Management;
* Approval of the Joint Funding Agreement between La Plata County and the U.S. Geological Survey for the period of January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011 for operation and maintenance of the streamflow gauging station 09359500 Animas River at Tall Timber Resort;
* Approval of the Certification of Mill Levies for Property Taxes to be Collected in 2011;
* Approval of Resolution 2010-65 appropriating additional sums of money to defray expenses in excess of amounts budgeted, and modifying the 2010 budget by transferring budgetary amounts
among the various spending authorities and supplementing certain budget line items;
* Consideration of a Letter Agreement addressed to the City of Durango and interested property owners along La Posta Road concerning the scope of services to be provided by Design Workshop related to Phase I of the La Posta Area Plan.
10:00 a.m. – PLANNING AGENDA: The Board will consider:
* Project #2010-0119, DMR – Base Camp Village & Graylock Village Boundary Adjustment;
* Project #2008-0124, Village at Silverpick Phase I Final Plat;
* Project #2010-0054, Silverpick DA Workforce Housing Amendment;
* Project #2007-0266, Granite Ridge Subdivision Preliminary Plat;
* Project #2010-0136, Resolution #2010-64, LPLUC Amendment – Amendment to Temporary Medical Marijuana Land Use Regulations.
WEDNESDAY, December 22, 2010
1:30 p.m. – The Board and Commissioner-elect Bobby Lieb will meet for teambuilding with Executive Core consultant Anna Pool at the Pine River Valley Bank conference room, 1701 Main Avenue, Durango.

La Plata County offices will be closed in Observance of the Christmas holiday and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 27, 2010.
