All land use permits are site specific and proposal specific. Any change of use, expansion, or relocation of the business must be approved through the land use planning process.

For assistance in determining locations in the County appropriate for your business, please visit the Planning Department in the Courthouse at 1060 East Second Avenue, Durango. The planning staff will then show you the various planning district and zoning maps identifying appropriate commercial areas, and discuss with you some general information you’ll need in the permitting process.
