Business licenses are not required in the unicorporated areas of the county; however, land use permission is required. Liquor License - Who do I contact to apply for a liquor license?
Liquor licenses must be obtained for events at which alcoholic beverages will be served or sold. Licensing information for liquor sales in La Plata County, outside city or town limits, can be obtained by calling the Administration Office at (970) 382-6219.
