Prescription Drug Discount Card
This program has been provided to you in a joint effort of La Plata County and the National Association of Counties (NACo). You can obtain a free discount drug card to be used at a retail participating pharmacy and save an average of 20% on your prescription drugs. No enrollment form, no membership fee.

Human Services - General Information
The La Plata County Department of Human Services serves individuals and families in La Plata County through a variety of programs. These programs include child care, financial assistance for families, the elderly, and the disabled, food stamps, Medicaid and other health care plans, energy assistance, child support assistance, child protection services, adult protection services, and a variety of counseling services.
