Information Services

Information Services implements hardware and software systems that improve government services. In partnership with all County departments and other agencies, Information Services coordinates all County Information Technology (IT) projects in an effort to implement integrated IT solutions which best enable departments to accomplish their respective missions. Information Services operations are driven by the guiding principles and goals identified in the County's Information Technology Master Plan.

• Goal 1 - To nurture an "organizational commitment" to information technology planning and utilization.

• Goal 2 - To embrace information technology as a way to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer service, solve problems and facilitate communication.

• Goal 3 - To develop practical and achievable short-term, medium-term and long-term implementation plans which strategically prioritize needs, and ensure wise stewardship of tax dollars.

• Goal 4. To protect and maintain the integrity and security of County networks, information, and telecommunication systems.
