Constitutional Rights as a Victim

VICTIM RIGHTS

As a victim of violent crime, you have the constitutional right to be informed of certain information and court dates. View court hearings.

Violent crimes which apply are:

  • Murder, Manslaughter, Homicide
  • Vehicular Assault, Vehicular Homicide
  • Assault;First, Second & Third Degree
  • Sexual Assault on an Adult or Child
  • Sexual Exploitation of Children
  • Unlawful Sexual Contact
  • Incest
  • Menacing
  • Indecent Exposure
  • Kidnapping, First & Second Degree
  • Robbery
  • Child Abuse
  • Crimes Against At Risk Adults or At Risk Juveniles
  • Crimes Involving Domestic Violence
  • Stalking
  • Ethnic Intimidation
  • Careless Driving that results in the death of another person
  • Failure to stop at the scene of an accident that results in the death of another person
  • Retaliation against a witness or victim
  • Tampering with a witness or victim
  • Intimidation of a witness or victim
  • Accessory to any of these crimes
  • Your Constitutional Rights As A Victim
