Land Use Regulations - Marijuana

On June 10, 2014, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 2014-24, approving amendments to the County’s Land Use Code.  These amendments deleted Chapter 91 from the Land Use Code, in its entirety.  Instead, medical marijuana businesses and recreational marijuana establishments will be permitted under the same land use provisions as all other projects in La Plata County.

A copy of the amended Land Use Code can be found below.   The Resolution applies to all new land use applications.
